Hyaluronic acid is a natural molecule contained in the skin (at the dermis) and in large part, responsible for the hydration, tonicity and elasticity of the skin. It is naturally present in large quantity at birth and its quantity in the skin decreases over time.

The decrease in hyaluronic acid linked to ageing is in large part responsible for the dehydration of the skin, the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines in the lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds and bitterness folds.
